ProfDRV partners implement task analysis for professional drivers in Europe

Between September 13th and October 15th, 2011 the ProfDRV project partners implement under the lead of the University of Erfurt a task analysis on professional drivers tasks in their daily working practice. The starting point for this survey have been a number of occupational profiles and curricula from among others Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Canada. The study intends to further elaborate these first research results with the support of professional drivers, employers and trainers in Austria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Hungary and Spain. The results will be used in order to draft a European profile that is compatible with the European Qualifications Framework.

For further information please get in touch with EU-project.akademie(at)dekra(dot)com or contact the ProfDRV partner in your country. If you want to participate in the survey please download the questionnaires in English and German here or contact your national ProfDRV partner. All contributions and feedback are very welcome and help us to improve professional driver training and the image of this profession in future.
